In an earlier post, we gave you some pointers on how to light a vlog on a budget. So, now that you know how to set up vlogging videos like a pro, how do you go on to create higher quality videos? Fortunately, for many of us just starting out, a lack of financial resources shouldn’t prevent you from being able to enhance the quality of your content — although, having a little dough here and there wouldn’t hurt.
When it comes to creating content, it is very important to have a well developed idea/concept. Once you have that taken care of, you should consider organizing and breaking down your idea into smaller steps to increase the likelihood of your success.
- Idea: What am I making?
- Pre-production: What does my idea need to be successful?
- Shoot day: Did I prepare everything properly beforehand and is everything ready?
- Post processing: How do I edit my idea so that it flows as one?
- Promotion: How do I get people to watch and share my idea?
