Google+ Begins Displaying Public YouTube Videos On Connected Users’ Profiles

YouTube creators: Remember that Google+ profile you started a year ago? Well, it’s time to dust off the old fella because it looks like Google is assimilating YouTube features further into Google+.

Perhaps hoping to breathe some new life into Google+, public YouTube videos will now be highlighted in users’ Google+ profiles. This means, if you have connected your Google+ and YouTube profiles, your public uploads will also start showing up on your G+ profile.

When you upload a YouTube video now, you will be able to easily share it to Google+ simply by checking a box and adding a message. In addition, the Google+ “Videos” tab will be replaced by a “YouTube” tab, which will take those who click it straight to that Google+ user’s YouTube channel.

If you aren’t seeing any of these options yet, you may need to connect your YouTube account with your Google+ account. You can find out more about that here. Look for this feature to roll out to everyone within the next few weeks.
