YouTube Wants Your Nonprofit Videos For The Seventh Annual DoGooder Awards

YouTube is in a give-back, love-the-world kind of mood today. YouTube and communications agency See3 have opened up the submission process for the seventh annual DoGooder Video Awards.

Honoring the best in nonprofit videos, the DoGooder Awards are open to nonprofits with videos that promoted awareness in 2012 as well as individuals who have created their own cause-driven YouTube content.

The awards are split into four categories including the ImpactX Award, which honors videos that have driven actual change in world, the humor-based Funny for Good award, Best Nonprofit video, and the Change Agent Award geared towards filmmakers who have created independent nonprofit videos.

YouTube and See3 are awarding winners with prizes that range from $3,500 in grant money to “special promotion on YouTube.”

Submissions for the DoGooder Video Awards close on March 22, 2013, so get out there and start making the world a better place.
