Google is picking up where Smell-O-Vision left off: They’ve discovered a way for users to “smell” for their searches. If you always wondered what that odor coming from the Italian restaurant across the street was or if you’re trying to figure out the smell of success, Google Nose Beta knows.
In their introductory video, Google engineers promise that Google Nose Beta will “offer the sharpest olfactory experience available” by searching for smells on your desktop and through its “Android Ambient Odor Detection” app for mobile phones.
