I should have known this day was going to take a drastic turn for the worst. All the signs were there: it’s cloudy in Orange County, I had a nightmare a vampire was stealing my mom’s front teeth, and now this news from Sourcefed! It’s just too much.
In a video just uploaded today, Sourcefed’s Lee Newton and Elliot Morgan announce that internet sensation Tard the Grumpy Cat has died. Yes, died. Dead as a doornail. Lounging on the big scratching post in the sky. Last night, Newton reports, Tard was taken to her local animal hospital where she passed away due to complications caused from her feline dwarfism. In a beautiful video montage that celebrates the sweet, yet constantly miffed, cat’s life, SourceFed’s video “Grumpy Cat Has Died” takes a last look at the legacy Tard leaves behind. [Carly sobs into Jeff Klima’s shirt and wails like Ewan McGregor in “Moulin Rouge”]
In closing, I just want to say thank you, Grumpy Cat, for helping us understand our own lives a little more clearly with your unimpressed facial expressions and “I hate the world” attitude. It will be truly hard to go on without you.

I seriously doubt this is true, a little research reveals that Sourcefed seems to be the only source talking about it and at the very end of the video Lee solemnly says “Happy April Fools”
