Collective Digital Studio announced today that they have hired Michele Fino as their senior vice president of sales and branded entertainment.
She will start at Collective on June 24 at their New York office and will oversee all advertising sales and branded entertainment projects on the East Coast. Fino was previously the vice president of branded entertainment in North America at FremantleMedia Enterprises, where she was responsible for sponsorship activities for the company’s programs such as “American Idol,” “The Price is Right” and “The X Factor.”
Fino told NMR about her move to Collective Digital Studio: “I’m psyched to be joining the CDS because first and foremost, they’re passionate about quality entertainment. I love being at the intersection of where content meets advertisers meets audience. Marketing is changing from a one-way, stand-alone message to a two-way conversation, and I’m excited to help create that with advertisers using our content as a vehicle.”
Alex Angeledes, chief revenue officer for Collective Digital Studio, welcomed Fino to the company in a statement: “As we continue to grow the media and content integration offerings tied to our major franchises like Freddie W, Annoying Orange, Rhett & Link, and Epic Meal Time as well as our other leading premium video platforms like Metacafe, Ebaums World, and Newgrounds, Michele’s deep experience creating successful brand integrations with top franchises like American Idol will be a true asset. She truly understands how to leverage popular entertainment properties to help marketers get their message across in an organic and appealing fashion at scale.”
Collective Digital Studio boasts more than 150 channels and 200 million views per month. The company is continuing its programming growth, including the highly anticipated second season of FreddieW’s web series “Video Game High School.”
