When YouTubers team up to flex their filmmaking muscles, awesome things can happen. Here are a few short film collaborations for your #TwoferTuesday.
There’s nothing better than a well-made short film from some of your favorite creators on YouTube. When New Form’s ‘Incubator’ program dropped it’s first round of shorts, I was pleased to see Craig Benzine AKA WheezyWaiter on the list of creators and even more so upon watching it.
Music is something that is near and dear to me and as it is with Benzine, so naturally that’s the medium he chose to make his film about. It illustrates the challenge of being a creator in a world where formula is what decides popularity in a such a way that it seems almost as if its a commentary on everything that’s creative. Plus it’s hilarious. Enjoy!
Starring Olga Kay and David Lawrence, Olga Kay’s “Circus” is one of the most beautiful and personal works from an artist who is known for being beautiful and getting personal. With David as The Ringmaster, Olga gives us a glimpse of her world, back when she was a circus performer on the other side of the world.
This was the first video I ever saw of Olga’s (probably) and it has always stuck with me and haunted me in a really good, wonderful way. It’s like the ghost of your favorite relative coming to visit you in your dreams I guess is how I would describe it. I am thrilled to share it with you now.
This Corridor Digital short featuring Mike Diva demonstrates that dubstep is dangerous and might kill you.
