I imagine the pitch meeting went something like this: “We need Gawker to make the WORST AD OF ALL TIME. Also, it needs football and DiGiorno pizza in it. Go forth.” And Gawker succeeded. Who is this meant for? This isn’t creative, this is just stupid. I would expect this from a bunch of grandparents at a Senior Center who decided randomly to make a commercial they thought their grandkids would think was cool. Gawker, please don’t let me think DiGiorno paid you for this? Did you pull the apocryphal wool over their eyes and tell them this was hip? Is DiGiorno staffed by a bunch of grandparents? What f**king went wrong in your quality control sector that I was exposed to this?
