Paige McKenzie is having a Bethany Mota kind of year. Her scary young adult book The Haunting of Sunshine Girl hits shelves March 24, she’s got a movie deal attached to it from The Weinstein Company, she started a film studio and now her book has an official YouTube trailer. Okay, that last thing isn’t nearly as exciting as the other things, but we think it’s pretty cool. How many book trailers have you put out?

The book, which has been lauded by scare-meisters Wes Craven and R.L. Stine, expands on the world of Sunshine Girl, our YouTube host who details her troubling and freaky interactions with the ghost that lives in her new house. If you like spooky, you pretty much have to read this thing (after you watch the trailer, of course).

And if you want to get your copy of the book signed when it comes out, Paige is doing a special event surrounding The Haunting of Sunshine Girl at the YouTube Space L.A. on April 16 at 6:00 pm! If you live even sort of close to Los Angeles, you should totally be there. Fair Warning: If you don’t go, you might just get haunted.
