Two of the smartest channels on TV, PBS and Nova, have decided to get gross on YouTube … in a scientific way. Gross Science details things like boogers, poop, dead matter and anything scaly, slimy or just plain yuck! But it isn’t just about freaking you out, it’s about learning how these things interact with the working world. Everything has a purpose and a function — including farts.

Hosted by Anna Rothchild, Gross Science is the channel that will let you know not only what that bigger function is, but how it works on a bigger global scale.

There first episode is about how different diseases make you smell:

How gross and awesome is that? Then tune in for episode 2, which looks into sea cucumber evisceration! I think I’m going to like Gross Science.
