Just because you’re not a celebrity, doesn’t mean you can’t go on a date with one. As several Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis fans, have already demonstrated, asking your celebrity crush out on a date via YouTube can actually work.
According to HuffingtonPost.com, Chelsea Gill uploaded a YouTube video of herself singing a song, asking actor Jason Segel out on a date.
In the video, Gill swears that she is sane, legal and disease-free. She also mentions that she’s a fun drunk and that she wouldn’t mind going out in disguise — to protect Segel being bombarded by fans, of course.
“Now, I know you’re really busy — what with Sarah Marshall and Miss Piggy, but I swear I’m worth your time just wait and see,” Gill sang.
Though Gill admits in her song that she “came on a little strong,” Examiner.com reported that in response to Gill’s YouTube video, Segal tweeted: “My favorite thing, maybe ever. I am in awe. Response on the way … I’m gonna need a couple days on this one.”
So, will Gill have the chance of a lifetime to go out with the “How I Met Your Mother” actor? We’ll have to wait and see, but until then we can marvel at her courage, creativity and endearing song.
