YouTuber Nick McKaig Sings A Capella Cover Of ‘You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch’

Nick McKaig, known for his a capella cover of “The Simpsons” theme song that was eventually featured in an episode last season, is at it again on YouTube. This time, he released a rendition of one of my favorite Christmas songs ever — “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”

Others before him, like Jim Carrey in that awful live-action remake of “The Grinch,” have butchered this song from one of Dr. Seuss most beloved stories. However, McKaig, while falling just a bit short of excellent, largely stays faithful to the original albeit with carefully-crafted a capella layering.
