You have until 11:59 p.m. PST today to sell YouTube on your ideas for your new collaborative channel. But for you and your partner’s collaboration to be considered, both of you must have your content monetized and have at least 10,000 subscribers and/or around 1.5 million total video views.
After submissions are closed, YouTube will select the 30 best collaborations and will send them to the YouTube Creator Space L.A. where they will get hands-on training and mentoring to make their dreams a reality. Besides training from YouTube experts, the 30 best collaborations will each receive $3,000 in marketing money and $4,000 worth of production equipment.
YouTube has hosted the NextUp program since 2011, and according to the YouTube Creator Blog, has propelled the careers of more than 215 partners from 15 different countries.
