YouTube Starts Allowing Custom Messages When Creators Promote Through Social Media

Here’s a quick bite of YouTube news for you. If you haven’t noticed by now, YouTube has begun letting creators customize the text that accompanies all publicized videos. Now, when you upload a video to YouTube, the text promoting it across your social networks no longer has to be a default message.

The ability to share a video across Twitter, Google+ and Facebook has been available to creators for some time now. The only difficulty of course, was the inability to tailor a specific message with your social media blast.

The only way to previously customize a message to supplement your YouTube upload was by going to each social media site and promoting individually, and with the existence of /r/gifs, who has time for all that?

Enjoy your newfound social media promotional freedom. Just try and keep exclamation points and ALL CAPS down to a minimum.
