4Chan Trolls the Grammys, Attempts to Get Lil B the ‘Gig of a Lifetime’

Over the years, 4Chan has hijacked many a internet voting contest for laughs. Some of the stunts their followers pulled included getting North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un voted as Time’s Person of the Year, sending Pitbull to perform in Kodiak, Alaska, Taylor Swift to perform at a school for the deaf and encouraging Justin Bieber fans to slash their wrists for him.

Now 4Chan is gearing up for its latest internet campaign, and it’s hoping that voters will send weirdo rap extraordinaire Lil B to perform at the Grammy Awards as part of Operation #BasedGrammys. 4Chan wants people to go to the Grammy Awards’ “Gig of a Lifetime” contest on Facebook, use all their ten votes for Lil B, and watch as Lil B “freestyles for 45 minutes, raps about love, humanity, and acceptance. People will start having sex everywhere as money becomes irrelevant, the State dissolves, and Lil B ushers in the Age of Man.”

Lil B, also known by his moniker “The BasedGod,” has made quite a ruckus on YouTube and other social media platforms in the past few years, rapping about how he looks like Ellen DeGeneres and Justin Bieber and getting his cat Keke to rap. He has more than 680,000 Twitter followers and has amassed more than 80 million views on his YouTube channel.

After hearing about the Grammys stunt, the “BasedGod” said on his Facebook page: “I always vote for Lil B becuase i love his music – Lil B.”
