YouTube is launching its Next Vlogger program for 2013, and this time they want to hear compelling stories of personal triumph.
In a YouTube Creator Blog post today, the program asked to hear from vloggers who have achieved a goal against the odds, overcome formidable obstacles or other inspirational stories. Vloggers will compete for 16 spots in the program, for which they will get three months of online workshops through Google+ Hangouts and $4 thousand worth of equipment and mentoring from fellow content creators and industry experts.
If you want to compete, you must register at the competition site, fill out your information and complete three short essays under 200 words detailing why you want to join the program, what your plans are for the channel and how you will collaborate with other vloggers.
The program is open to residents of the United States, Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Hurry, entries must be received by April 18.
