Fullscreen is #1 Independent YouTube Network on Comscore for Fourth Month in a Row

YouTube multi-channel network Fullscreen is still going strong as the number one independent network for the fourth month in a row, according to the latest data from Comscore which tracks the top 10 YouTube partner channels.

Not only is Fullscreen the number one independent network, but the gap between it and competitor Maker Studios when it comes to unique visitors is growing. Fullscreen registered 40.1 million viewers in March while Maker Studios has around 33 million viewers. Other independent networks in the March Comscore report include ZEFR at number 5 with 26.5 million viewers, Machinima in 6th place with 24.4 million viewers, IODA (formerly The Orchard) in 7th place with 23.4 million viewers and BroadbandTV rounding out the top 10 with 18.4 million viewers.

Fullscreen displaced Maker as the number one independent network when Comscore released its December 2012 report of the top 10 YouTube partner channels. The network features talents ranging from Sam Tsui, Kurt Hugo Schneider and Michael Buckley.

The independent network has brought in new executives like Brendan Gahan and Larry Shapiro as part of its growth strategy and recently launched its music library featuring Universal Music content for its creators.
