“American Idol” contestant Jessica Sanchez will be performing songs live from her upcoming album “Me, You & the Music” at the YouTube Space L.A. at 12:30 p.m. PT today. The album is set to be released tomorrow, April 30, and will be the debut album for the “American Idol” runner-up. Sanchez’s performance will mark the first ever musical performance to take place in the creator space and is an event that will not only feature Sanchez’s music but also dance performances from the YouTube channel DanceOn. In addition to her new album, Sanchez — who first made a name for herself at the age of 10 by signing Aretha Franklin’s song “Respect” on an episode of “Showtime at the Apollo” — has an upcoming guest role on “Glee.”
