Ryan Seacrest Jumping Into Digital Programming With Fullscreen, AOL Deals

Ryan Seacrest’s production company is jumping into the digital programming business with two deals that will see its shows on YouTube and AOL.

Number 1 independent multi-channel network Fullscreen announced that it will be working with Ryan Seacrest Productions (RSP) to “develop new content opportunities for YouTube and beyond,” according to a company blog post by CEO and founder George Strompolos.

While the blog doesn’t get into specifics about what content Ryan Seacrest Productions will create for YouTube, Strompolos said: “This exciting partnership leverages Fullscreen’s diverse global talent network and RSP’s expertise in producing world-class digital, unscripted and scripted entertainment.”

Besides working with Fullscreen, Variety announced that Ryan Seacrest Productions is also working with AOL to create a 10-episode web series featuring appearances by Gwyneth Paltrow. The show, called “Second Chances,” is co-hosted by fitness guru Tracy Anderson and features stories about women overcoming many forms of challenges in their life.
