Alloy Digital In Talks To Bring Smosh To Cable Television

Smosh may be headed for television as their parent company Alloy Digital is talking to cable networks on possibly creating a second home for Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, Variety reported today.

Alloy Digital is planning on making either a scripted series or a non-scripted program, and the company has already hired writers for the comedy duo’s television series.

A possible television show for the comedy duo comes after their no. 1 YouTube channel became the first to hit the 10 million subscriber mark this week. They will likely join other YouTubers in making the jump to television like Ray William Johnson, who recently signed a deal with FX on a comedy series inspired by his life.
