Comedian Maria Bamford Gives Motherly Advice In My Damn Channel’s ‘Ask My Mom’

Comedian Maria Bamford is coming to My Damn Channel with her quirky web series “Ask My Mom!” She will play the roles of herself and her 72-year-old “heartfelt, absurd liberal Christian mom” Marilyn Bamford.

The “Ask My Mom!” website describes Bamford’s role as her mother: “She has years of wisdom to tackle any query, question or fact of life. But, she’s also one of the busiest senior citizens on the planet! We can only get her to answer questions while she’s getting something done, but it’s priceless hard-hitting advice – whether she’s microwaving baked potatoes, doing yard work or jumping on a mini-trampoline.”

Viewers of the upcoming web series are highly encouraged to submit questions for Marilyn Bamford through the “Ask My Mom!” website, and she’ll be glad to answer questions about relationships, life and faith while she’s eating her salad or trimming those hedges.

“Ask My Mom!” will premiere simultaneously on MyDamnChannel.com, Blip and on YouTube Thursday.
