NASA Teams Up With The Cast Of ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ For Google+ Hangout

NASA, in their never-ending quest to be the coolest space program around (take that Roscosmos) will be holding a Google+ Hangout on May 16, 2013 with the cast and crew of the upcoming film “Star Trek Into Darkness” [squeals with delight].

The Hangout will feature astronaut Chris Cassidy, who currently resides on the International Space Station, as well astronauts Michael Fincke and Kjell Lindgren, who will be tuning in from Houston’s Johnson Space Center.

Director J.J Abrams, screenwriter Damon Lindelof and actors Chris Pine, Alice Eve and John Cho will also be attending the Hangout, which is awesome because I have many unanswered “Prometheus” questions for Lindelof.

Per usual with this type of Hangout, all participating parties will be selecting questions from NASA’s social media followers via YouTube, G+, Twitter and Facebook as long as they are tagged with #askNASA.

NASA writes: “The hangout may be viewed live on NASA’s Google+ page, the NASA Television YouTube channel, or NASA TV.” The G+ session will begin at noon and run until 12:45 p.m. EDT.

Set your phasers to fun!

I’m really sorry about that.
