YouTubers Postmodern Jukebox mix today’s hits with the sounds of a bygone era. Some of their viral videos include a Wild West version of Kesha’s “Die Young” and a Swing-era rendition of Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop.”
In their latest video, the group pays homage to “The Great Gatsby,” which has been getting much attention lately since the movie’s release earlier this month. In true Postmodern Jukebox fashion, they sing PSY’s latest song “Gentleman” and gives it a bit of the Charleston.
I’m a sucker for 1920s-style music and while I don’t care for anything else PSY puts out these days, this rendition of “Gentleman” hits the spot.
