[Update 5/3/2013 10:51 AM PT] Antoine Dodson just posted a video on his YouTube page called “The Awaking to the TRUTH,” confirming his allegiance to the Hebrew Israelites and blasting news sites like TMZ for suggesting he “worships Satan.”
Remember Antoine Dodson, the guy that chased an intruder who attempted to assault his sister away from his home and then sassed him out in a video interview with a local news station that then went super viral on YouTube? It looks like he’s done with being gay and is now a “True Chosen Hebrew Israelite.”
In a series of bizarre postings on his Facebook fan page, the concerned sibling turned YouTube sensation denounced his homosexuality, said he wants a wife and kids and is embracing a higher power.
He wrote in one post: “I have to renounce myself, I’m no longer into homosexuality I want a wife and family, I want to multiply and raise and love my family that I create. I could care less about the fame and fortune, I’ve giving all that up to know the true history of the bible. For I am the True Chosen Hebrew Israelite descendant of Judah.”
If these posts are actually from Dodson, then this would be a sudden change for the once-openly gay YouTube star. The 26-year-old Huntsville, Alabama-native has been making a career out of his one-off 2010 interview with a local television station where he warned people in the projects to “hide yo kids, hide yo wife” from the bed intruder. Dodson became a household name after his interview went viral on YouTube and after The Gregory Brothers auto-tuned his sound bites into “The Bed Intruder Song,” which got even more views than the original news segment.
His last major appearance on YouTube was during their annual April Fools’ prank as a judge for their eight-year contest to find the “best video.”
