“The Guild” writer and producer Felicia Day will be guest starring in Cartoon Network’s “The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange” this coming Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Day will be voicing a new character, Ginger, in this week’s episode, which is titled “Marshmallow Wedding” and seems to be about an arranged marshmallow wedding of some sort. Also, Ginger is a talking piece of ginger, if you haven’t guessed that already. The actress and digital video entrepreneur has done voice acting on the pseudo-live-action-cartoon previously as characters like “Peach” and “Starrie.”
The animated series based off the Annoying Orange character, which was created by Dane Boedigheimer, has quickly become one of Cartoon Network’s most-popular series after carrying over a 2.6 million-strong YouTube subscriber fan base.
Day won’t be the first YouTuber to dive into “The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange” — she’ll be joining previous guest stars Toby Turner (Tobuscus) and Justine Ezarik (iJustine) who voiced characters in 2012.
