Gamer Power: Corridor Digital Hits 2 Million Subscribers

Chances are if you’re on YouTube and like innovative stuff even a little bit, you’ve seen one of Corridor Digital’s many seamless effects-laden videos. Even if you hate the impurity of new age wizardry, their mastery of digital manipulations has the edge on most mainstream studios, so you’ll probably enjoy what these guys are doing in the field of digital video. And while you were busy watching videos about crazy Russians being “real,” these guys quietly racked up 2 million subscribers.

The braintrust behind Corridor Digital — Sam Gorski, Nikolas Pueringer, and Jake Watson met at a high school in the might-as-well-be-Canada town of Stillwater, Minnesota (true story: in 2005, a registered sex offender posed as British royalty at the high school there) and have been basically blowing the internet’s collective mind ever since. And now that they’ve gone double platinum in the subscriber game, they’ve joined an elite group of YouTubers.

Congrats guys and keep up the dazzling mindfuckery. We’ll all be watching with googly eyes to see what you come up with next. And for everyone who’s not Corridor Digital, be sure to check back next week when we feature the hell out of them.
