Its been a big, big week for Facebook, shared with The Verge that they will be adding a camera button into the comment boxes that will allow users to reply to posts with full-sized photographs.
While Facebook has not yet made a public announcement about the new feature, the company did inform The Verge that it would be rolling out the new photo feature today for both desktop and mobile websites. Previously, Facebook would automatically generate an image preview when users posted a URL in the comment box. With the new feature, users will be able to upload photos directly from the their computers. This news comes just days after rumors began to circulate that Facebook had developed a new video sharing app for Instagram and would be unveiling it at their upcoming June press event.
