A video of this song should play every time someone opens the camera function on their phone.
As a coverer of all things entertaining video, nothing makes me scream louder and more frequently than thumbnails promising T&A, which then don’t deliver. But a close second is when someone films some would-be epic video in portrait rather than landscape mode. The vid for this song, by Chescaleigh and set to TLC’s “No Scrubs” (the first time I heard that song, I was coming back from the beach with a girlfriend in her brand new Ford Probe — I thought I was on top of the world), features a host of established and up-and-coming YouTubers including Daily Grace, Soundly Awake and Hannah Hart, so it’s got some pedigree behind it. Also, it is catchy as hell — which makes for a good, chill Friday.
Now, if we can just get people to follow the rules when capturing video content, we’d be in business. As for the T&A thing, I guess I’ve just got to accept that it is nudity-free YouTube. Sigh.
