Every once in a great while, a YouTube music video comes along that is so jaw-droppingly good, viewers can’t help but stop and listen. This week, YouTuber Todrick Hall and musical group Pentatonix are giving viewers just that experience in their newest collaboration video, “The Wizard of Ahhhs.”
The video retells the well-known story of “The Wizard of Oz” through a musical medley that includes both classic songs from the original film — “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” — and modern hits — Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble.” The video has garnered over one million views in just two days and is a strong contender for best YouTube music video of 2013.
