Baseball Team Admits Rejected Marriage Proposal That Went Viral Was A Hoax [VIDEO]

On August 2, fans attending the New Britain Rock Cats baseball game looked on as a young man proposed and was then quickly rejected by his girlfriend. The video of the dismal proposal quickly went viral, and in the wake of its popularity, the minor league baseball team released a statement admitting the proposal was a hoax. The minor league team is not the first to create a failed proposal video that went viral, but follow in the footsteps of YouTube pranksters PrankvsPrank who fooled the world with numerous fake proposals in their video “Valentine’s Day Proposal Prank.
