YouTube automatically plays videos as soon as they’re opened. However, with many people employing multiple tabs on their browser simultaneously, it can be hard finding out which tab background audio is blaring from.
The online video site has a modest solution to that problem. It recently rolled out a new icon for browsers to help users find where the audio is coming from. The “play” icon informs users that audio is being played in the video, and it disappears when the video is paused or is finished.
