Woman’s ‘Lego Leg’ Prosthetic Gets 1.3 Million Views on YouTube [VIDEO]

Earlier this year, Christina Stephens lost her foot in an accident while she was fixing her vehicle. While adjusting to her new life, she started her own YouTube channel called “AmputeeOT” and used her clinical expertise to vlog about her experience and to help others who have had amputations.

One of her videos involved making a prosthetic leg made out of Lego pieces. Stephens has been fascinated with Legos since she was a kid and put her Lego-building skills to work in the five-minute video.

She told the Associated Press about her Lego video: “I thought my Legos video had some viral potential but I had no idea it would explode like it did.”

Since uploading the video on YouTube in early June, the video has reached more than 1.3 million views and has made Stephens an online video sensation.
