Yahoo To Premiere Its Fall Comedy Web Series Lineup September 9

Yahoo has unveiled their fall comedy web series lineup which will all premiere September 9.

Returning for another season are the web series “The Flip Side,” sketch comedy series “Sketchy!” and sports comedy “Sports Friends.” New on Yahoo’s lineup are “Losing It With John Stamos,” the military series “Tiny Commando,” the Cheryl Hines and Rachael Harris series “We Need Help,” the Jack Black-helmed “Ghost Ghirls” and the cop buddy comedy “The Fuzz.” Each season will have eight episodes premiering simultaneously.

Besides their comedy lineup, Yahoo will have all 38 seasons of “Saturday Night Live” available for streaming on the same day. Yahoo bought the exclusive rights to SNL from Hulu back in April.

Yahoo explained its lineup in a statement: “By offering nearly all episodes of eight shows at once, Yahoo!’s Fall Comedy Lineup marks the first time an advertising-supported distribution platform – online/digital or otherwise – will launch this volume of new content all at once for viewers. Along with the 38 years of Saturday Night Live library clips, more than 5,000 pieces of content and 1,000 hours of content will be available for viewers to discover, watch, and share on September 9.”
