As the wild west of YouTube settles down into a cultured and civilized town, certain channels are beginning to emerge and establish themselves as “must-watch.” Anything Epic Rap Battles, DevinSuperTramp or Bad Lip Reading put out is “must-watch.” And the team at Cinefix is quickly establishing themselves as a contender for that coveted designation.
With their homemade remake of the seminal 1990 film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” Cinefix has achieved a bizarrely hip niche in the “camp” world. And just like 8-year-old me with the actual Ninja Turtles movie, I am now praying that there is a sequel to this — preferably one with Vanilla Ice in it as well.
