Grace Helbig to Move on From My Damn Channel and ‘Daily Grace’ in New Year

2014 will shape up to be a banner year for YouTube endings: Kingsley will be departing, Ray William Johnson’s “Equals Three” show will be done and now Grace Helbig will be finished making videos for My Damn Channel and their Daily Grace channel.

Helbig signed with My Damn Channel in 2007 and has been uploading five-day-a-week videos to the Daily Grace channel for just as long. Moving forward, My Damn Channel will retain the original Daily Grace page with its over 2.4 million subscribers, and Helbig will move on to her secondary It’s Grace channel with its nearly 100,000 subscribers, and which she has already started primarily promoting on her social media pages.

“Unfortunately, our current multi-year deal with Grace expires today, and while we were hoping to continue our formal relationship, she has decided to move on to other ventures.” My Damn Channel wrote in a blog post today. They go on to say: “We are happy and grateful for all that we built together with Grace and the best fans ever. Her career will continue to see success after success. She is one of the most talented and hardest-working artists we know, and we are excited to see what’s next. We wish her the very best and hope we can work together again in the future.”

Helbig recently won MTV’s “Best Vlogger of 2013” award and has “Camp Takota,” a movie co-starring Hannah Hart and Mamrie Hart, upcoming.
