2013 was a good year for a lot of us, but it might be said that none of us had as good a 2013 as Miley Cyrus, who captured not one, but the top two spots on Vevo’s Most Viewed videos of 2013 list. And since that surprise is ruined, the real question left is: who else made the list? And since I’m writing this before I actually know, I’m going to go out on a limb and say Daft Punk, Robin Thicke and Lorde also show up on this thing. But I could be wrong (novel, right?) … lets find out together.*
Note: Vevo has several different versions of videos (“directors cuts” and the remixes), so while some artists are higher in the list than their numbers represent, understand that these are the figures Vevo has made available as well as their own tabulations of the order in which the artists are listed. Vevo seems to be pretty smart, so I’d defer to them about who belongs in which order.
