A few hours ago PewDiePie sent out a casual Twitter statement: “20 MILLION BROS!” Also one of those little sideways happy face emojis.
In typical PewDiePie fashion he followed it up with: “dun tak 2 me unles yur famus leik me..” Ahh, funny and casual — apparently these are two very necessary traits to propel oneself to the very top of the YouTube heap.
And as far as YouTube heaps go, right now there is none higher than the Swedish gamer sensation PewDiePie who, according to VidStatsX, is 5 million subscribers ahead of Smosh. Based on the numbers, he is gaining subscribers at a rate of nearly 1 a second. Damn, that’s some good gaming.
