Student Injured By Apparently Sentient Machine At Indian ‘Robot Wars’ [VIDEO]

An engineering student in India is lucky to be alive today after he caught a chunk of robot in his face during a “robot wars” exhibition at an engineering school in India. The YouTube footage, which shows the student fainting after being hit by plastic off of one of the two machines forced into lethal combat, was filmed during a match between “Mojo-jojo” and “Golu” (seriously, that’s not me “being racist”).

No word about which robot survived the fight, but the student is in stable condition, so that means we can at least make jokes about machines revolting after being forced to do battle for our amusement. Isaac Asimov and the guy who wrote the screenplay for “Robot Jox” tried to warn us! Oh, the hubris of man …
