A big NMR congratulations is in order: In an enthusiastic YouTube video uploaded today at noon by vlogger family The Nive Nulls, Austin Null announced that he would be quitting his job as Fullscreen’s social engagement strategist in order to take on YouTube full time.
“I’m quitting my job because you guys are my job. This is our new job. We’re gonna do YouTube full time,” Austin tells viewers.
In the “SUPER BALLIN OUTRAGEOUS FAMILY ANNOUNCEMENT” video — which includes his wife Brittani in the background cradling their baby son Kailand while older sister Audri is at play in and out of the shot — Austin tells viewers that he has finally achieved his longstanding dream of being able to be a full-time YouTuber. He gives credit to “amazing cool” sponsors for allowing him to quit his other job at Fullscreen, although he will stay with the MCN as a partner, he tells NMR.
Wholly committing to YouTube vlogging will result in more creativity and interactivity as well as being able to create more videos outside of the Nulls’ family home, Austin explains in the new video. The Nulls family patriarch also promises to revolutionize vlogging with the help of viewers, although he admits he doesn’t quite know how yet.
The Nulls have been posting YouTube videos for over three years and were originally inspired by Shay Carl’s daily brand of family vlogging. In addition to the main Nive Nulls channel, Britt also has her own channel, Britt’s Breakdown. The main Nive Nulls channel is nearing 75,000 subscribers and 7 million views.
