Ströer Digital has just landed their Moby Dick. Or at least one of the white whales on the new media landscape: TubeOne Networks.

Acquiring a majority stake in TubeOne, a major network with over 145 million views a month and more than 20 million combined subscribers on Facebook and YouTube, Stöer has just made a nice little addition to their already ample portfolio. Ranking as one of the largest MCNs in Germany, TubeOne was already a combination of GameInside and Tube Agency — so it will be interesting to see if a further name change emerges from this latest pairing. A stated goal of the dynamic new company is to hunt out and represent the new media stars of the future — the up and comers on the social media scene.

Additionally with the acquisition, former Director of Sales Denis Müller has taken over as Chief Sales Officer: “In the past year, we have established ourselves as relevant specialist marketers in the online video market. Merging our portfolio with Ströer products is the next logical step for us. Online video, and especially innovative multi-screen offers, will be core components of the media strategy for all advertisers in the future.”
