Vevo’s ‘Guess the Video’ Punishes Music Video Ignorance With Pies To The Face [VIDEO]

If I was walking down an urban street in Atlanta and two random dudes rolled up on me with a pie, a $100 bill and a video tablet, I would fall to my knees and beg not to be raped, beaten, robbed, turned out, murdered or have my teeth knocked out with a lead pipe so I couldn’t bite while giving them, um, mouth hugs.

And yet, the first part of that scenario now happens frequently with Vevo’s brand new comedy/music series “Guess the Video.” Atlanta comedians and YouTube stars, the Hudson Brothers have a brand new show on Vevo.com where they show random participants a video clip. If they guess the video correctly, they get $100. If they’re wrong, they get a pie in the face. And as Vevo puts it nicely, “There are a lot of pies.”

It’s pretty merciless too — the pies come fast if you don’t know the answer in a couple seconds, which is nice. “Guess the Video” unveils a new video every Thursday, so if you like comedy that hails back to the classic slapstick of yore, definitely give it a watch.
