YouTube’s very own tween pop stars, Cimorelli, debuted their scripted comedy this Tuesday through a collaboration with AwesomenessTV. The six-sister a cappella group filmed a five episode series “Summer with Cimorelli,” which revolves around the group surviving a summer in L.A. with no parents and no cash.
Cimorelli have garnered over 2.5 million subscribers with their a cappella gold, and are signed to Universal Music’s Island label where they released their single last year “Made in America.” AwesomenessTV’s last musical collaboration was “Side Effects,” which starred YouTubers Chester C, Grace Helbig and Glozell.
“Summer with Cimorelli” is perfect for lovers of Nickelodeon’s “Sam & Kat” or Disney’s old-school “Hannah Montana.” Even if you don’t fall into that category, you should tune in to see Cimorelli’s acting chops and perfect harmony. But seriously, how do they all manage to harmonize?!
Check out the eight minute episode on AwesomenessTV or Cimorelli, with new episodes released each Tuesday.
