So that up above is the first
Vine from space. As far as Vines go, it’s pretty damn cool — majestic, even. And yet, I can’t help but think astronauts are now just hunting that
Chris Hadfield fame. Don’t get me wrong — I think astronauts should be celebrated for GOING TO SPACE. But I gotta believe astronaut Reid Wiseman saw an opportunity to establish that post-space credibility with the youngsters and he grabbed it. Notice that the title of the Vine is “1st Vine from space” instead of the less self-serving “Vine from space.” Methinks Reid feels this is his “Neil Armstrong” moment.
Still, notice how the sun never fully “sets” — f**king awesome! Good work, Reid.
Share this clip so you can tell your grandkids where you were when you first shared a Vine that was “out of this world.”
