Didn’t get to go to VidCon 2014? Live vicariously through just a taste of the fun that NMR had over the weekend in Anaheim, Calif. From hanging out with Grumpy Cat and the Fine Bros. as they work with Friskies to find the next Internet cat star to jamming a capella style with sister group Cimorelli, this was easily the best VidCon yet.
Not only was it the biggest VidCon ever, with over 15,000 attendees, it really showcased how far the convention has come as everything was more streamlined and problem free. The parties were amazing, the “VidCon Prom” rocked, and nobody died. While there wasn’t a giant great white shark in the convention hall devouring beer kegs like last year, there were giant hamster balls, the Machinima Arcade and more delicious food trucks than you could dream of spending your parents money at. Also, tons of swag — and the YouTubers were cruising the halls, happy to sign said swag.
The bottom line: NMR went, screamed our heads off, and are already counting down until next year’s VidCon.
