Kid President is quite possibly the coolest job in the land to be held by a 10-year-old. On top of making all sorts of fun (and smart) declarations about making this world a better place, Kid President (Robby Novak) also gets to hang out with celebs like Steve Carrell and Beyonce. Oh, and real president, Barack Obama.
But you know what? Being Kid President just got a lot cooler. Starting June 21 at 7 p.m., “Kid President: Declaration of Awesome” will debut on the family-friendly Hub Network — yup, Kid President is headed to television.
“Kid President is all about getting kids and grown-ups to work together to make the world more awesome,” says executive producer Rainn Wilson. “This show is an amazing blend of humor and heart, and The Hub Network is the perfect place for us to continue our mission to give the world a reason to dance. Plus, the network sent us an industrial-sized freezer full of corndogs. And we will do just about anything for corndogs.” Next stop: rehab (believe me, you get to a point where you are no longer eating those corndogs — they’re eating you!).
The show, which is put out by good vibes YouTube channel Soul Pancake, seeks to use fun to deliver a real world message. So not only is “Kid President: Decleration of Awesome” going to be good, it’s going to be good for you. Unlike those corndogs.
