Are you tired of “Game of Thrones” parody videos yet? The data suggests that you are not! King of all Geek media (and erstwhile Wesley Crusher) Wil Wheaton has taken the time to reinvent “Game of Thrones’” iconic opening sequence. Normally, epic music accompanies a soaring look at the clockwork landscapes of Westeros. As opening sequences go, it’s more than adequate. Still, any “Game of Thrones” fan (Throne-heads? Thronies? Do those guys have a name yet?) can tell you that “Game of Thrones” isn’t a show about geography — it’s about families. Keeping that in mind, the clever editors over at “The Wil Wheaton Project” have re-imagined a new opening sequence based on the most iconic family drama of all-time: “The Brady Bunch.”
The title sequence actually provides some really useful exposition for casual viewers who aren’t following the show’s complicated drama. I also think the original “Brady Bunch” could have done with a few more beheadings, but that’s a matter of personal opinion.
