Family Witnesses Missing Son’s Killing on YouTube [WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO]

Footage of a sniper killing a 23-year old man in the war zone of Gaza City hit YouTube on Monday, only to receive an outcry from the young man’s family who had spent two days searching for him.

The young man, Salem Khaleel Shamaly, and his family were separated during an evacuation from their home. Despite their searching, Shamaly’s family finally saw the YouTube footage uploaded by a group of human rights activists and saw he had been killed.

The family stated in a phone interview from Gaza that they were urging rescue workers to retrieve the body, but the war-stricken city remained too dangerous.
