YouTube posted to their Google+ account that we’d be getting two new features from them: the first, and less exciting, is a tiny little facelift on your video page. Quite simply, the just spaced out the buttons a little more. It’s hardly worth mentioning, but it happened to coincide with their real news: they’ve finally introduced video queuing for Chromecast. Don’t have Chromecast, the function that enhances your streaming of YouTube vids on your TV? Well then, we guess that first bit of news is the more exciting one after all.
The queuing function means you’ll be able to set up a lineup of videos that you want to watch while the first one is still playing. So that’s handy, yeah? Google announced that the ability to queue would be accessible to Chromecast users sometime next week.
