Parks and Rec’s Aubrey Plaza Is The Voice of Grumpy Cat

The personification of passive aggressive comments and/or eyerolls, Parks and Recreation‘s Aubrey Plaza has signed on to be the voice of Grumpy Cat in her Lifetime Christmas special Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.

Meanwhile, the entirety of the web nodded in approval with a quick “yep,” and a feeling that everything’s going to be okay swept through our snarky, snarky hearts.

Grumpy Cat herself will actually be on set rather than simply selling the brand, for whatever that is worth to you. The premise, according to Entertainment Weekly is Grumpy Cat “becomes, well, grumpy living in a mall pet shop. That is, until a 12-year-old girl named Chrystal realizes she can talk to the feline. On Christmas Eve, Chrystal rescues her after the mall closes.”

Apparently Lifetime’s been getting all of my letters. Now if only MTV will bring back Buzzkill.
