Hank Green, Bethany Mota, and Glozell to Interview President Obama

The three YouTube creators will sit down with President Obama a couple of days after the State of the Union address on January 22nd.

This isn’t the first time the President has sat down with YouTube creators. Over the last three years, the President has met with creators on multiple occasions.

Last year, Hannah Hart, Tyler Oakley, Nice Peter, The Fine Brothers, and Alphacat met with the President to discuss healthcare reform.

In 2013, he met with Kid President and spoke about how children and adults can change world together.

That same year, he met with the other half of the Vlogbrothers, John Green.

Back in 2012, President Obama also took part in a Google Hangout with citizens who submitted questions to the White House YouTube channel.

Of course, the President isn’t the only one who’s reached out to the digital world. Vice President Joe Biden hosted a Fireside Hangout in 2013 with several correspondents and Philip DeFranco.

For this latest foray, the President will be taking questions submitted to the creators via #YouTubeAsksObama on Twitter. The State of the Union address will be streamed live on YouTube on January 20th.
